Heading to the footy might not be on the cards just yet, so how have you been getting your footy fix in Perth?
With restrictions easing, there’s no reason why you can’t visit your local, show them your support and watch an AFL game with mates.
If you’re stuck on where to go to catch your team play this weekend, here are our favourite places to hit up.
The Camfield
If you can’t be at Optus Stadium to watch live games, the next best thing is right next door at The Camfield – officially Australia’s largest pub. The venue is streaming games live and you can reserve a table for the entire game. The guys are also accepting bookings for all AFL rounds. Walk-ins are welcome, but if they reach capacity you might be waiting awhile, so it doesn’t hurt to book ahead.
Ravenswood Hotel
This is a fav with our Pinjarra store crew! Stop by our Pinjarra store to try our latest invention pie or something sweet, then make your way along Pinjarra Road to Ravenswood Hotel for an icy cold pint. Catch a game or shoot some pool in the bar, and if you’re still hungry, the bistro serves up delicious pub style meals with the Murray River as your backdrop. Not a bad way to spend the afternoon, agree?
Port Kennedy Tavern
There’s nothing our crew at the Port Kennedy store love to do more than knock off after work and unwind at the Port Kennedy Tavern. You can take in all the AFL action on the super screen, while enjoying everything from wood fired pizzas to chargrilled steaks. If you head in on a Sunday, make sure you stick around for the live music.
Varsity
Not only do these guys have an epic burger menu, but these American themed bars are totally devoted to all things sport. Doesn’t matter if you live north or south of the river, you’ll find a Varsity bar close to you. When it’s bouncedown they pull a pretty a rowdy crowd, so if you’re looking for a good time – this is the place to be.
Your mate’s place
When you’re having a tracky dack kinda day, invite yourself over to your mates house – just make sure you return the favour! We’ll even make it easy for you. Our Perth catering crew can sort you out with our crowd pleasing finger food options – perfect for an afternoon of footy. You can order your catering online, but we do need at least 24 hours notice (before 11am for next day pickup or delivery). Too easy!
